Mac & Adam entertaining the crew Hello everyone,

Well it has been a bit of a busy month, the family travelled  to Noosa to our dear friends Nikki & Jamie for Nikki’s 40th birthday bash and what a time we all had!

Nikki hired the Catalina Cruise boat and we bordered at 3.00 pm for a sunset cruise while enjoying the music of the Calypso Band, Wine, food and lots of dancing.  Everyone had a ball…. there’s always something special about a family get together to celebrate a special day!!!! Happy Birthday Nikki !!!!!!!!

We stayed at Coco Bay Resort in Noosaville a wonderful place to relax and enjoy catching up with friends.  Many thanks to Frank and Kim our dear fiends that own the resort, their hospitality as always was over the top, they made us feel so welcome and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!!

On the Sunday we caught up with Mackenzie’s mates from Good Shepherd College for a get together down on the Beautiful Noosa River!!  It was great to Catch up with all our friends and tell of our adventures!  They are all such lovely people……

We travelled back to the Gold Coast to pick my mum up from my sister Haley’s for a week on the yacht.  This was going to be interesting as mum has never really slept on a boat for more than a couple of nights…….. Anyway she really enjoyed her stay, we went for a long walks across Stradbroke Island to the surf beach, found some beautiful Cowrie shells, the boys entertained us with a few tunes, we talked, laughed, drank lots of cups of tea and of course the odd wine or two………engaged in many a deep conversation, battled the rain, the wind and the extreme humidity!!!! Didn’t wash our hair for 5 days and ended up getting her hair rollers working on the last day!!!  We all loved having her aboard and it was great to see her interaction with the kids especially Sam…………We look forward to the next time……………See you soon Anne & Clive…………….

Sam & Jo's mum Anne enjoying a game of connect four...

We are now staying at Adams mum and dads for a week or two as we need to get some work done on the yacht.  While we were away for that week 2 shower pumps died and the bimni top has a tear in it, we also need to get some more storm covers organised as well as a rain water catchment system and Adam has been trying to organise to sell the cars and finalise everything for the trip up north.

Bye for now

Jo
