Hello readers,

I havent blogged in a while i know.. been a bit busy …

3 weeks ago we left Gold Coast heading for Moloolaba, it was hard for me to say good-bye to all my friends and family down there, but it was hardest saying goodbye to David.

We knew we weren’t going to see eachother for at least 3 weeks, until our 1 year anniversary (28th May 2011). Its the longest we have been apart since he went to europe for 3 months in 2010.

We said our goodbyes and headed to Moloolaba staying there for 2 days waiting for the right tides to cross the Noosa Bar, our next destination. We had a few friends join us for the sail into Noosa, 2 of Mac’s friends and one of my best friends Athena.

The sail went well until both of Mac’s Friends and my friend Athena became very sea sick with still 2 hours of sailing to go. After a nap they seemed to cheer up and by the time we were at the bar crossing everyone was awake and nervous. We all had our lifejackets on, the tide was just high enough for us to cross without touching the bottom.. (we hoped) I remember what dad said to the crew just before crossing. “if all turns to crap, just jump overboard and swim to shore..” Defiantly reassuring words Dad!

We made it safe and sound and we were glad to more safely in Noosa Woods. We have had so many visitor over the past week its insane! People everyday coming to wish us well on our voyage. It’s been good, but entertaining can get pretty tiring. Especially on mum who has to have nibblies prepared, and the boat clean for every visitor! I had 2 of my Best friends Athena and Sarah visit me on and off one of them staying on the boat most nights. which was great to catch up, we sun-baked and talked for hours since we hadn’t seen Eachother in months.

This past weekend was David and my 1 year anniversary. He finished work on friday night and left the set of TeraNova at 6:30, then packed and headed to Noosa that night! Arriving at 10pm. We stayed in a resort in Hasting Street Friday and Saturday night and spent the day exploring Noosa, I showed him the national park and he took me to one of the best Japanese restaurants in Queensland.  It was a really nice weekend.  Yesterday (Sunday) he had to leave at 6pm to get home by 9pm so he could start work at 7am Monday morning. So we said good-bye yet again, this time with no knowledge of the next time we would see each other, because next we will head to Bundaburg, and he can’t exactly drive there from the Gold Coast after work…  So for now we will talk on the phone and email.

It hasn’t even been 24 hours and I miss him already.

Thats all for now friends,

Will let you know what happens next on our journey soon.
